Irina’s lawyers asked for three months for reconciliation, but the court singled out only two. Wife Meladze wants to keep the marriage, and I am sure that everything can change in 60 days. The singer himself does not see the need for time for reflection, Valery would like to quickly sign all the necessary papers. “My client insists that it is impossible to save the family. This lawsuit is only the legal registration of the fait accompli,” commented Valery's lawyer, Shota Gorgadze, on the situation.
However, the court nevertheless decided to give the couple the last chance: the next hearing will be held on January 21.
Note that Irina learned about the upcoming divorce from the press. Her husband’s suit came as a complete surprise to her. Rumors about a possible divorce of the Meladze couple have been around for a long time: it is no secret that the singer’s heart has been occupied for many years by the former soloist of the VIA Gra trio Albina Dzhanabaeva.
