The 24-year-old resident of Kingston was arrested for the most terrible crime that can only be done on the eve of the upcoming Christmas holidays. The young guy told the children that Santa Claus did not really exist. Local police have already come up with the name of the offender, calling the attacker (based on the famous film) a funny nickname "Grinch - the thief of New Year's Christmas."

So the day before in the city of Kingston, according to the old tradition, the Christmas Eve procession of a whole group of Santa Clauses was held. However, this year one pretty drunk young man tried to break this entertaining event all the time; he was walking along the street road all the time loudly shouting to married couples with children nearby that in reality there was no “fairy-tale Santa Claus”. The drunk man shouted that Santa Claus was invented by his parents only in order to more effectively manage and manipulate his children.

"We detained the Grinch for impudently disseminating false and provocative information about Santa Claus. How dare he behave publicly and disrupt public order! Most likely his heart of stone has completely hardened," Kingston’s law enforcement authorities said on Twitter.

Noticing the "Christmas thief", surprised parents immediately contacted the police. According to local authorities, the head violator had disheveled hair on his head and directed it on both sides, as if their shape formed real demon horns. An intruder of a fairytale legend slept in a police station at night. In the morning, already sober up, he was released on bail on the condition that before the start of the trial he would in no case consume alcohol.

The Grinch has been charged with non-compliance with the public law order, as well as in violation of normative behavior when serving a probationary period. By the way, so far, law enforcers have not answered frankly to the question of local journalists: "For what all the same guilty act did the court establish such a severe punishment for a young man?"
