Everyone strives for happiness. But what is it? Definitely difficult to answer. Entire philosophical treatises write about happiness, but its formula remains a mystery to humanity. Because the answer to the question of what happiness is, everyone has his own.
Information portal “Women's Opinion” set out to find out whether our compatriots experienced true happiness, how happy they feel, and what they need to complete this feeling.
It is pleasant to state the fact that most of the respondents consider themselves to be happy women or have experienced happiness in their lives - they make up 87% of the respondents. From the responses of the respondents about what makes them happy, we can conclude that they are all very different in their attitude to life, and yet, the main value for the majority is children and family happiness, that is, the presence of a loving husband, the health of parents and children etc.
So, the greatest happiness in life 30 percent of those polled said the birth of their child (or children). Women write most sincerely and warmly about children: “... she lulled her son in her arms, he fell asleep, sat looking at him, he slept so sweetly, so beautiful, so sweet, and so small that everything melted inside me, it felt like that! !!! it is impossible to convey in words, that day I cried with happiness, I realized that I only need one thing from this life so that my baby will be healthy and happy. ”
39 percent of women who answered the questions said they were happy because they met their soulmate. And yet, when asked what they lack for complete happiness, women most often answered that they would like to have a child (this is the opinion of 30 percent of respondents). Here is how one of the respondents wrote about this: “I can call myself happy when I get married and give birth to a baby. For me now, this is one of the main goals in life. "
15 percent of the respondents believe that for complete happiness they lack their housing. That is, it is important for women to have their own family hearth. And only 4 percent of women cited the lack of decent work as the missing link for complete happiness. This confirms that for our women, the main life priorities remain love and children, and only then - a career.
An interesting fact is that 9 survey participants connect their happiest moments with buying a dog. For example, one of them wrote: “I remember very well the moment when I was presented with a dog for my 19th birthday. I squealed with delight, I cried with emotion. "
However, only 4 percent remembered buying a car as a happy moment. Also, 4 percent of the women surveyed said they were happy, but refused to explain why. Well, we are still ready to be happy for them!
At the same time, among the survey participants there are those who cannot call themselves happy - there are 9 percent of them. You can guess that these are women suffering from loneliness. One of them wrote: “Can a loner be happy.”
However, as we have already said, from the answers of most of the women who took part in the survey, we can conclude that they value their lives and look to the future with optimism and hope. And the most universal picture of happiness through the eyes of a woman can be represented by the example of one of the answers: “I feel genuine happiness every time I see my mom, my spouse, when all my relatives are near me. At such moments, I feel protected from all worldly problems and troubles, all adversities go by the wayside. ”
It seems that each of us is ready to subscribe to these words, thinking about our loved ones.
The survey involved 2865 women from 112 cities of Russia. Age from 20 to 42 years.
