English scientists and their colleagues from Norway found out the ideal size of a woman's waist. Specialists meticulously calculated everything and stated that the ideal waist should not have a size exceeding half the height.

It turns out that the proportions 90-60-90, which women constantly sought, imitating famous beauties from the world of fashion, are extremely dangerous for health. Of course, not all three parameters, but only the waist size. According to the researchers, ideally, the female waist should be 80-85 centimeters.

No more and no less, since unnecessary kilograms located in the waist area provoke diabetes and hormonal disorders, and “model-like” forms lead to heart diseases and depression, which are often accompanied by other nervous disorders. Moreover, women with weight deficit are much more likely than full women to commit suicide.

Scientists believe that the ratio of growth to waist volume is the most accurate indicator of the absence or presence of problems with overweight. It is this indicator that informs about life expectancy. For example, if the waist is 80% of the growth instead of the ideal 50%, a person can lose seventeen years of life!

Using this indicator, you can check young children, and not just adults. Experts recommend starting accurate measurements at a young age in order to have time to improve your figure, thereby extending your life.
