Russian teenager Alexander Abnosov, adopted by an American family five years ago, fled the United States and returned to Cheboksary to his grandmother. When Sasha was ten years old his mother died, his father was deprived of parental rights due to alcoholism. Social services did not allow an elderly woman to take custody and the boy ended up in a boarding school.

Two years later, Sasha was adopted by a family from America and moved to Philadelphia. The young man told reporters that the adoptive mother immediately disliked him, found fault with trifles and constantly punished him. Scandals often occurred at home, which often ended in assault.

Alexander found a common language with his father, they talked a lot and went to the lake to fish. At the age of 15, his parents forced the boy to get a job at a local eatery, and they took the money they earned. The teenager’s nerves could not stand it and after another quarrel he ran away from home. For three months, Alexander, who had only a Russian passport with him, wandered around Pennsylvania and tried to earn money to buy a ticket to Russia. Arriving in Moscow, Sasha restored his American passport, and then went to his grandmother in Cheboksary.

At home, an 18-year-old teenager plans to start life from scratch. He dreams of continuing his studies at a local school and serving in the Russian army. Alexander Abnosov claims that American parents did not even call him after his escape from home
