The cucumber season has long been open. Those who have their own garden roll cucumbers as they mature. But those who do not have their own land, make raids on the markets and are immediately purchased by a large number of cucumbers. And then for several days in a row they are making different types of blanks.

For the first and second, we have prepared yet another wonderful recipe for cucumbers for the winter. This time we suggest you preserve it in hot chili ketchup. Perhaps you have already heard about this recipe more than once, maybe you even tried it with someone. And thanks to our recipe, you can now roll up such cucumbers yourself.

What can be said about the workpiece. You can cook them as whole, and chopped cubes or slices. For the recipe, you need to take hot chili ketchup. Ketchup of the Torchin trademark has proven itself best, but you can take any other brand.

Also, sharp ketchup can be replaced with a barbecue, it will not be so sharp. It is best to roll cucumbers in small jars, so you opened a jar and immediately ate. A three-liter jar, not only does not immediately eat up, it’s also not convenient to store an open jar in the refrigerator. Therefore, we prefer half-liter or liter jars.

Time for preparing - 20 minutes

Servings Per Container - 1

Ingredients:

  • Cucumbers - about 4 kg
  • Hot Ketchup - 250 g
  • Water - 1.5 liters
  • Sugar - 1 tbsp.
  • Salt - 2 tbsp. l
  • Vinegar - 250 ml
  • Garlic - 1 head
  • Umbrellas of dill.

Cooking:

We begin the preservation by carefully washing the cans of soda and sterilizing them in a way convenient for you. In each jar of 0.5 liters we put an umbrella of dill and two or three cloves of garlic.

Cucumbers cut into rings and put them in a jar. Do not forget to shake the cans so that more cucumbers fit in. If you have small cucumbers, just stack them tightly in a standing can.

Now prepare the marinade. In a saucepan, mix all the ingredients - water, sugar, salt and ketchup. Bring the marinade to a boil, mix well to disperse the sugar.

Pour jars of cucumbers with a hot marinade.

Now we need to pick up containers for pasteurization of cans. We put them in a pan, the bottom of which must be covered with a towel or silicone mat. Pour warm water into the pan to the shoulders of the can.

Bring the water in the pan to a boil, cover the banks with lids. We sterilize half-liter jars for 7 minutes, liter 10 minutes. Then immediately roll up the cans and put them upside down to cool completely. Why turn the cans upside down? To check tightness of the swirl.

You can store cucumbers both in the basement and at room temperature. Good luck with your workpieces.
